Under the direction of the Technical Manager, you will play a critical role by for planning, prioritizing, and coordinating engineering work across projects, operational requests, and sustainment activities. This role serves as the central point of visibility for engineering workload, capacity, and scheduling, ensuring that commitments are realistic, data-driven, and aligned with business priorities. As a part of our Technical team, you will maximize engineering capacity, improve delivery predictability, and enable informed staffing and prioritization decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the intake of engineering work requests from internal stakeholders. Validate scope, urgency, dependencies, and required effort prior to scheduling work. Ensure engineering requests are aligned with approved priorities and available capacity. Maintain a structured backlog of engineering tasks and upcoming work. Identify scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and capacity risks early and escalate as needed. Support engineering leadership with scenario planning and schedule impact analysis. Validate engineering estimates and improve estimating accuracy over time. Provide data-backed input to support realistic commitments and delivery dates. Maintain dashboards and reports related to engineering workload, capacity, and schedule adherence. Track trends and recurring issues impacting engineering efficiency. Support the development of standardized planning and scheduling practices.

Skills, Education, and/or Experience

Education in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field. Previous experience in engineering coordination, project scheduling, operations planning, or similar role preferred. Familiarity with project management, engineering, and manufacturing tools, systems, processes, and lifecycles. Familiarity with tracking labor hours, capacity planning, or resource forecasting. Familiarity with Health and Safety guidelines. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required. Organizational and time management skills required. Communication and change management skills required. Previous experience with quality control and process improvement preferred. Able to work proficiently in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently.

Job Conditions



Physical Demands:



Light physical effort - able to lift between 20lbs. Sitting, lifting, squatting, pushing, pulling, or reaching for intermittent or extended periods. Prolonged periods of sitting as a desk and looking at a computer.
