Your Role
As our
Medical Technical Manager
, you will:
Lead & Manage:
Build, mentor, and support a team of medical service technicians to deliver outstanding service.
Work Hands-On:
Actively participate in troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance alongside your team
Optimize Operations:
Develop and implement strategies for equipment maintenance, repair, and compliance with industry standards.
Ensure Compliance:
Oversee regulatory and safety requirements for all medical and rehabilitation equipment.
Provide Expert Support:
Serve as the go-to contact for complex technical issues, troubleshooting, and escalations.
Collaborate:
Partner with sales, customer service, and manufacturers to deliver seamless service and product support.
Analyze & Improve:
Track key performance metrics, streamline processes, and introduce best practices.
Manage Inventory:
Oversee spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement to support timely repairs.
Train & Educate:
Provide training sessions for staff and customers on equipment use, care, and troubleshooting.
What You'll Bring
Experience:
5+ years in medical equipment servicing, biomedical engineering, or related technical fields, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Education:
Diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline--or equivalent experience.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with diagnostic software and computer tools.
HubSpot experience (an asset).
Ability to apply market intelligence and industry trends to improve service strategies.
Certifications:
Biomedical technician certification (preferred, not required).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and transport medical equipment as needed.
