You\'ll be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and operations of Maximo initiatives at ATCO, working closely with internal teams and external partners. If you have experience in leading technical teams in Maximo enhancements and operations, we\'d love to hear from you.What You Get to Do:This role will have accountability for the technical implementation of ATCO\'s Maximo application. This includes oversight and facilitation with third-party vendors, service implementers, and service providers to ensure alignment with industry best practices and ATCO\'s technical standards.

  • Maintain an understanding of the overall Maximo landscape and work with the business to optimize their utilization of Maximo
  • Influence and execute the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) strategy.
  • Ensure service provider adherence to proper ITIL management policies and procedures
  • Define project technical requirements, build business cases, and participate in the selection of service implementers/providers.
  • Review design documents, project requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Understand solutions and identify impacts on the existing functionality and code base
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure code quality meets ATCO\'s standards.
  • Lead and guide interrelated application implementation and operational activities.
  • Define and enforce coding, error, and application monitoring standards.
  • Review the regression & system test scenarios for acceptance & execution. Including maximizing ATCO\'s use of automated testing
  • Accountable for maintaining the Maximo code base and build/deployment process
  • Accountable for driving technical improvements
  • Escalate project risks and vendor concerns to IT and Business leadership.
  • Monitor project progress and provide technical oversight of Maximo implementors
  • Ensure successful transition to operations
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of technical experience in Maximo Asset Management software
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams.
  • Hands on development, code management, and troubleshooting experience
  • Working knowledge of code branching and merging strategies
  • Strong understanding of overall IT architecture
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical terms to non-IT stakeholders.
  • Functional Maximo Asset Management experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
