Available Position:Technical Lead - ArchitectureKey Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and manage the technical aspects of architectural projects, ensuring the highest quality of technical delivery.
  • Design Coordination: Oversee the integration of design and technical elements, collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes, conducting reviews to ensure design documents meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and oversee the production of detailed technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges that arise during the design and construction phases of projects.
  • Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and advancements, integrating new technologies and methodologies to improve project outcomes.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team capabilities.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, addressing technical concerns and ensuring their requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring alignment with design intent and addressing any technical issues on-site.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in architectural project management and technical leadership.
  • Proficiency in design and technical software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, BIM tools).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work hybrid (3 days home) with potential for remote work for the right candidate.
  • Preferably able to come to the office in Ottawa or Hamilton.
