About the Role




As a Technical Lead at MistyWest, you'll drive the technical vision and system design to solve client challenges. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborate closely with clients and project managers, and stay hands-on with key technologies like sensors, optics, and motion control to deliver innovative products across industries.

Accountabilities



Understand client goals and define technical solutions that align with their vision Translate product requirements into clear technical tasks and project plans Guide the team through implementation, problem-solving, and delivery Communicate effectively with clients, managing expectations and weekly check-ins Own the product roadmap and ensure alignment across stakeholders Ensure high-quality, technically sound deliverables Lead complex, multi-party projects and collaborate with external partners Identify opportunities for IP reuse and process improvements Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal technical leadership

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related technical field Minimum 5 years leading complex electro mechanical or embedded product development, including hardware firmware integration Strong hands on background in embedded systems design including MCU selection, schematics, PCB review, sensor integration, power management, and firmware development (C/C++) Experience with hardware in the loop testing, system bring up, debugging with lab instruments, and reliability validation Proven ability to plan and deliver projects using standard project management tools and practices Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams across electrical, firmware, mechanical, software, and manufacturing and working directly with clients and stakeholders Excellent problem solving skills, high curiosity, and a learning oriented mindset Asset. Experience with motion control, optics, or high precision sensing systems Commitment to building sustainable, safe, and socially responsible technologies
