We provide both technical sales consulting and support with a goal of transforming the way people work. This is a home office, field sales role based in the posting location and requires up to 35% domestic travel.




Description





In this role, you will: - Act as a trusted advisor on the Apple ecosystem, business transformation, and Apple platform adoption, serving Apple's Enterprise, Education, and Channel customers - Work collaboratively across Apple, our Major Accounts, education organizations, channel and other strategic solution partners to change the way people work and students learn. - Deeply understand our customers' businesses and technical ambitions. - Remove technical barriers and friction points, and enhance customer readiness for our platform. - Create new best practices and share them. - Use proven experience to gain credibility and increased influence with customer executives. - Drive sales both by providing pre-sales technical support and by independently identifying and developing new business opportunities within the territory to increase the adoption and penetration of Apple products. - Address client issues and concerns. - Share status, progress and facilitate sales activity across the reseller and Apple sales teams. - Leverage every engagement as an opportunity to enable our partners to learn Apple's messaging or best practices. - Work with our regional resellers' technical teams to capture their hearts and minds for Apple. - Deliver the partner technical enablement strategy using sales programs, giving pre-sales training, co-selling, sharing best practices and presenting channel event keynotes. - Regularly assess and communicate the strength and effectiveness of the partnership.




Minimum Qualifications



7+ years of experience advising on technical transformation solutions for large enterprises or education institutions or in a consultative pre-sales engineering role Background in a customer facing role in IT technology, preferably with a portfolio that includes hardware, software, and services Expertise in building and delivering compelling presentations, demonstrations and seminars Solid understanding of Apple products and customer needs that can be translated into a compelling solution in real-time Strong sales experience, including: qualifying, overcoming objections and obstacles, and closing business Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


Preferred Qualifications



Broad experience selling complex technical solutions Hands-on knowledge of multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS and iOS/iPadOS Outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills Passion for continuous improvement with the curiosity to uncover gaps, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive to optimize processes and create solutions Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure and clarity where none exists Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate organizational structures, and manage complex relationships Ability to build, maintain, and strengthen high-level customer relationships


Pay & Benefits





At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,000 and $247,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.



Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple Inc.'s discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit award recommendations, and can purchase Apple Inc. stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple Inc.'s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Participation in Apple Inc.'s discretionary stock programs is governed by Apple Inc.'s stock plans and agreements and are not part of local employment contracts or compensation.
