Technical Illustrator / Graphics Designer - Technical Drawings: Everest Signs is a full service sign manufacturer, in business since 1986. We design, manufacture and install illuminated and non-illuminated signage in the GTA area and across Canada. We manufacture all our signage products in house, in our 20,000 square feet manufacturing facility in Toronto (Birchmount Road and Lawrence Ave intersection, Scarborough). We install using our fleet of cranes, bucket trucks and trailers. We are looking for hardworking, honest, responsible, motivated individuals who are willing to learn and grow with our company. At present we are looking for a Technical Illustrator / Graphics Designer Illustrator- Technical Drawings Summary
Position -- Technical Illustrator / Graphics Designer - Technical Drawings
Hours -- Mon-Fri 8.00am-5.00pm, 40 hours per week Required Skills:
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills in English
- Well versed with unit measurements in inches, centimetres and fractions.
- Advanced working level in Adobe Illustrator and Autocad essential. Working knowledge of Autocad Revit, Solidworks, Tekla is desired
- Familiarity with creating 2D/3D technical illustration/drawings for sign permit purposes
- Civil/Structural drawings reading ability
- Experience in creating designs based on provided wireframes
- Understanding of various civil construction material and steel/aluminum structural members Preferred Skills:
- A Valid Ontario Driver\'s License with clean abstract preferred but not required Job Responsibilities:
- Able to review quickly all notes attached to new job orders
- Discuss and create 2D/3D technical drawings using Illustrator and Autocad for review
- Review and revise drawings as per client changes and suggestions
- Create final sign permit drawings based on job order specifications
- Review and revise sign permit drawings as needed
