What You\'ll Be Doing

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be joining CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (EAML). You\xe2\x80\x99ll be at the heart of CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects involving multiple back-end systems. As an Technical Business System Consultant (Data Mapping), you will build, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience. You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications. The Consultant is responsible for leading the technical design, development and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and provide enhancements to existing technologies. The role works on complex issues involving one or more technical areas, mentoring employees and performing tasks of advanced technical depth and breadth. The Technical Business System Consultant (Data Mapping) collaborates with developers, architects and infrastructure specialists to gather requirements and conduct research to evaluate the application of new and emerging tools and techniques, identifying patterns and best practices to consider in technology proposals while anticipating long term business issues. The role devises new methods and procedures using strong analytic and inductive thinking, developing project plans based on appropriate standards and methodology.

How You\'ll Succeed

Production Support - Investigate and define operational issues and prioritize based on severity, risk and/or strategic business needs. Collaborate with business and support team to design and implement solutions to prevent recurrence with the end goal of ensuring clients satisfaction.

Partnership - Work as a regular liaison with business partners, technology partners, senior management team, internal and external clients. Ensure internal clients are well-informed of the team mandate and nature, including relevant policies and legislation changes. Promote and support the concepts, products and services of the Channel Support area.

Projects Delivery - Act as subject matter expert in the assessment of impacts for planned system changes and projects, ensuring compliance with relevant organization standards (Business, Continuity, Security, Compliance, and Privacy); develop and maintain productive relationships with Technology, QA, Project team and others. Investigate, analyze and provide recommendations on issues and system outages.

Solution Design - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Provide solution to the application\'s technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. .

Who You Are

You can demonstrate experience in: requiremnt gathering, data mapping, data due diligence, Data anlytics(AML) and solution design. This role will also be working with the Oracle sql \xe2\x80\x93 creating databases, database objects, writing complex queries or stored procedures, exporting DMLs, DDLs, etc. You will also be handling Anti-money Laundering with Actimize. It is an asset if you are familiar with Agile methodologies and Cloud environments (Azure/OCP or equivalent).
