Annual Salary: $83,117 - $114,286

Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Architecture, the person in this role has deep and HANDS-ON knowledge in frontend and backend solutions development as well as standard workflow development processes. Solid knowledge of enterprise repository architecture and governance is required. Given the breadth of this role the person must learn and adapt quickly. This person has a history of success and impact. Maintaining a balanced, measured approach to projects will be key to success. Individual will be expected to work with equal ease on their own or as part of a team. Individual must be innovative and business focused to overcome anticipated and unexpected obstacles. As well, you will be:

• Evaluating, identifying and developing software solutions using Azure services and tools.
• Leading software development projects and overseeing the activities of the development team.
• Documenting and recording every aspect of an application or software.
• Planning, designing and implementing test plans and reporting findings.
• Architecting and building cloud solutions to business requirements in accordance with enterprise application standards and best practices.
• Actively supporting sales pursuits and proposals by providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Using Microsoft platform technologies (ASP.NET Web API) and Azure & MS ERP suite, design, build and modify existing business-tier components, web applications, and database objects.
• If necessary, create prototypes to validate proposed ideas and solicit input from stakeholders.
• Excellent grasp of and expertise with test-driven development and continuous integration processes.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with other developers, testers, architects, and project managers.

Some things that would impress us:

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Business or related field.
• Expertise of Azure & MS ERP suite platform features, services, tools, and architectures for integration.
• Experience in developing, testing, deploying, and managing cloud-based applications & integration solutions on Azure & MS ERP suite.
• Expertise developing in various programming languages & tools such as C#, Java, PHP, Python, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework Core, and Azure services.
• Creativity and a detailed understanding of coding and design principles.
• Leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Azure Storage.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio, Postman, and VS Code.
• Expert knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, Infra as a Code, CI/CD and container management platforms.
