Under the supervision of the department supervisor the technical advisor will diagnose, repair and maintain various types of tools.



Role and responsibilities



Troubleshooting: Identify problems with tools and determine with the diagram what repairs are needed. Repairing: Perform repairs on tools using hand tools, ensure repairs meet or exceed production standards and work with the maintenance department when tools are out of his knowledge. Testing: Test tools to ensure they are working properly and verify their calibration. Inform the quality department when tools need to be calibrated. Documenting: Record repairs and provide reports detailing the work performed and parts required and maintain min-max. Assembling: Reassemble tools and products from components. Maintaining: Ensure tools are maintained and in optimal working condition. Recommending: Make equipment recommendations. Communicating: Communicate with suppliers and assist with technical questions. Inventory management: Manage tool inventory, sterilize new tools and order required components with the purchasing department. Production: Helps production and reworks when needed.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements



Assembly experience (good manual dexterity) Mechanical and technical aptitude Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Able to read tools diagram Knowledge of tools and understanding how they work Basic knowledge of computer and the Microsoft suite Ability to plan and organize work in accordance with priorities Willingness to learn Master the French language and the English (suppliers from the United States).
