Summary
===========
We are seeking a Technical Advisor to develop and deliver technical demonstrations of geoLOGIC's geoscience and engineering data & products to the Canadian Energy sector. You will work closely with other Technical Advisors and various stakeholders at all levels within the Company, acquiring a solid knowledge of geoLOGIC's flagship products (geoSCOUT and gDC) and an awareness of client needs, competitive products, solutions, and offerings. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, solution-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure while maintaining high levels of drive.
The primary focus of the Technical Advisor is to support geoLOGIC's Sales Account Managers in the sales process, providing technical expertise on the applications of geoLOGIC's data & products in clients' workflows. Reporting to the Director, Technical Advisory Group, the Technical Advisor plays a pivotal role in advancing geoLOGIC's client engagement, product adoption, and market expansion strategies. This role combines technical expertise, client advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration to support sales, product development, and strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Client-Facing Technical Leadership
Conduct technical demonstrations and meetings to support sales across all product offerings, ensuring effective communication of value-add proposition.
Maintain close relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their experience and satisfaction.
Capture client feedback and advocate for workflow improvements within Data, Design, Development, and Quality Assurance teams.
Develop playbooks capturing client user needs and best practices for different use cases.
Log client communications and activities into the Salesforce CRM system.
Collaborate and be a team player with all internal pre/post-sale resources.
Develop and maintain an understanding of geoLOGIC's value, differentiators, and the competitive landscape.
Product & Platform Advocacy
Champion geoSCOUT and the associated gDC data, driving adoption and enhancement across the oil and gas industry in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) and its associated sectors.
Support other products and solutions available through geoLOGIC's ecosystem, including geoXPLORER, Evaluate Energy, gDC Cloud, and gDC Dashboards.
Develop actionable insights using geoLOGIC data and products to optimize client impact.
Contribute to the roadmap for analytics and intelligence offerings, including AI integration.
Collaborate on expanding geoLOGIC's reach into broader energy markets (e.g., carbon, power, water, liabilities management).
Communicate product defects and enhancements to the data, design, and development teams.
Internal Collaboration & Mentorship
Share knowledge and expertise across Customer Experience and Sales teams. Provide Customer support as required.
Supplement advanced training capability and learnings.
Provide technical onboarding for new hires on geoLOGIC's product suite.
Mentor junior staff and foster cross-departmental collaboration to integrate innovative solutions that align with emerging industry trends, best practices, and client demands.
2-3+ years of proven expertise and experience working with geoLOGIC's geoSCOUT and gDC data & products.
Knowledge of the application of geoSCOUT for various oil and gas subsurface workflows. Experience with other geoLOGIC products is an asset.
Strong understanding of petrotechnical and data analysis methodologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate across teams and mentor others.
Familiarity with AI tools and digital platforms is an asset.
High standard of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
Knowledge of geoLOGIC and competitor products is a plus.
