This role can be based out of one our main offices including:Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; Calgary, ABHere\'s where you\'ll be focusing:As a Tech Lead with Sobeys, you will:Technical Expertise - Serve as the technology expert in the product area and guides the team technical deliverables. Identify Programming Standards for Coding, Logging, Source Control, and Documenting Solutions.Design - Works with Business Solutions Engagement Team and Business Stakeholders to create Functional Requirements and Solution Designs. Assists the Technology Solutions Manager in identifying the scope,complexity, and sizing of requests. Collaborates with the Solution Architect to break down Solution Designs into Work Packages.Backlog Management - Works with the Technical Solutions Manager to prioritize the queue of work items. Reviews enhancement and project intakes for opportunities to combine requests or identify overlaps with in flight solutions or existing functionality.Testing & Delivery - Guides the team in the development of solution designs and performs code reviews. Leads the team on Agile practices and overall approach to executing product delivery quickly and with quality. Creates solid test plans including string, end-to-end, performance, and regression testing.Continuous Improvement - Identifies Continuous Improvements initiatives to increase team performance. Performs knowledge sharing and ensure teams are actively seeking out opportunities for improvement.Stakeholder Engagement - Engages with relevant stakeholders in end-to-end service delivery lifecycle and providing status updates. Ensures the appropriate approvals are obtained during solution design and delivery.Operations Maintenance & Support - Assists in establishing Maintenance Cycles and defining Service Level Agreement Models. Identifies repetitive problematic issues and determines plan for resolution. Ensures proactive and reactive problem management across the team.
