Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tearista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for tea culture and a desire to provide exceptional service to our customers. As a Tearista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of teas, educating customers about our offerings, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a diverse selection of teas, ensuring high quality and consistency in every cup. Educate customers on different types of tea, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tea preparation area and customer seating spaces. Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed. Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or beverage preparation is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. A passion for tea and willingness to learn about different varieties and brewing methods. Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in the workspace. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week

Work Location: In person
