Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant activities, including food preparation, serving, and cashiering
Oversee food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain compliance with health regulations
Manage POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
Assist with food service tasks such as upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities
Ensure timely and efficient service by managing staff schedules and time management strategies
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and support team development
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant environment
Conduct inventory checks and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Qualifications
Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or related roles; prior experience in food industry preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cashiering skills are essential
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and inventory management
Leadership abilities to motivate and supervise team members effectively
Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is highly desirable
Ability to upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities
Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed; leadership qualities are a plus
