Chef On The Run (Oak Bay) is seeking an Experienced Chef to join our culinary team in our prepared meals business . For over 40 years Chef On The Run has served the greater Victoria Community with quality meals to take home to heat and eat.
We have both in store and delivered to the door service. .
Our meals offer culinary experiences that not only satisfy the taste buds but also promote a healthy lifestyle. As an Experienced Chef, you will play a pivotal role in food preparation, and overall kitchen management while ensuring that our high standards of quality and safety are consistently met.
Your expertise in various cooking techniques and menu items will be instrumental in meeting our wide variety of culinary offerings.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using various cooking techniques and tools, ensuring attention to detail and quality in every plate.
Collaborate with the management team .
Implement and maintain sanitation practices and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Respond to feedback from leadership team to make improvements to dishes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
You must live in Victoria and able to work in Canada.
We do not have a LMIA program.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment,
Proven expertise in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Exceptional creativity and a passion for food, with a keen eye for presentation and detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
