Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience preparing Japanese cuisine, enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant industry experience, a passion for food prep, and strong customer service skills.Responsibilities:
- Assists the head cook in planning, preparing and cooking meals.
- Follow the recipes to accurately prepare food.
- Collect food from vendors and manage inventory levels.
- Ensure food is prepared in a safe manner by following all company standards and regulations to prevent contamination.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment and kitchen.
- Ensure all food meets company standards.
- Be attentive to customers' needs and requests.
- Communicate effectively with fellow workers.
Part-time hours: 25-30 per weekSalary: $15.00-$20.00 per hourSchedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
