We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve food items according to company standards, maintaining quality and presentation
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food handling duties, including packaging and portioning
Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to enhance guest experience
Ensure adherence to sanitation standards and proper food safety procedures at all times
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
Uphold a positive attitude and teamwork environment throughout shifts
Experience
Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Experience in cashiering or cash handling enhances efficiency in transaction processing
Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service
Prior experience in upselling or suggestive selling techniques is advantageous
