PURPOSE: As a Team Leader at Folk Fries, you play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations, leading the team, and ensuring the overall success and excitement of our restaurant. Your commitment to Folk Fries\' values and vision is essential in creating a memorable and authentic experience for our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Team Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire the team by fostering a positive and energetic work environment.
  • Set the tone for Folk Fries\' lively atmosphere through effective leadership.
2. Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to Folk Fries standards.
  • Collaborate with different departments to optimize workflow and enhance the customer experience.
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
3. Customer Engagement:
  • Interact with customers to ensure a Folkin\xe2\x80\x99 Good Time, addressing concerns and feedback.
  • Foster a sense of community by building positive relationships with regular customers.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
4. Staff Development:
  • Train and develop staff members, instilling Folk Fries\' values and commitment to excellence.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
5. Financial Management:
  • Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, inventory control, identify measures to cut waste and cost management.
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products etc
  • Implement strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining the quality of offerings.
6. Innovative Solutions:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative strategies for business growth.
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  • Collaborate with the team to explore new initiatives that align with Folk Fries\' exciting vision.
  • Manage restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s image and suggest ways to improve it
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous managerial experience in the restaurant industry is required.
  • Previous customer service experience is a strong asset
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be a self starter, and show initiative
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position, with salary and benefits which commensurate with qualifications and experience.
