Our luxury advisors are at the core of everything we do and specialize in air, hotel, cruise, tours, and VIP travel, where our Corporate Travel Consultants are the experts in providing tailored, full-service travel management solutions to our business clients. The Team Leader will work closely with the leadership team at Travel Edge Corporate to facilitate all aspects of corporate travel. This role will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operational duties, leading, and inspiring team members, all while meeting and exceeding team targets and KPIs. The work hours for this position is 9am-5:30pm PST Responsibilities:

  • Arrange routine and complex domestic and international business travel for air, car, hotel, limousine, and rail
  • Maintain an exceptional and consistent relationship with our clients
  • Assist with researching and resolving client enquiries
  • Creates and update traveler profile information and share the knowledge within the team
  • Support group travel reservations
  • Training, coaching and development of team members including one on one and team meetings
  • Manage team email and phone enquiries to ensure SLAs are met
  • First point of escalation for clients
  • Manage team schedule and vacation rotations
  • Debit memo research and disputes
  • Assist team with contractual commission related enquiries
  • Work closely with Customer Success team to ensure highest level of customer experience
  • Attend monthly leadership meetings with Corporate Executive Team
  • Participate in monthly Town Halls
  • Other responsibilities as required by Director or VP, including being available afterhours in the case of an emergency
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of proven travel sales experience as a travel consultant
  • 5+ years of proven Sabre GDS experience, airline contracts, refunds, exchanges, international airline commission and net fare agreements
  • Exemplary sales skills and customer-oriented service approach
  • Attention to details and multi-tasking abilities are key
  • Excellent knowledge of international airfare routings, ticketing, and exchanges
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Highly motivated to achieve team sales targets and other Key Performance Indicators
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think independently & escalate issues as needed
  • Previous leadership experience (is a plus)
  • Open communication with leadership team
  • Positive, resourceful & a \'can-do\' attitude
  • Highly functional in a fast-paced, constantly changing workplace
  • Strong belief in our company culture & the ability to embrace change is a must
