We are currently hiring for a Team Lead to join our growing team and lead our new home. The Team Lead holds responsibility for the day-to-day operations of assigned work areas. Monitors and coaches assigned employees to ensure high quality of support and care are provided to clients. The Team Lead is the first point of contact for their Team members on operational, routine issues that do not require strategic management input.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervisory duties: Possess a demonstrated ability to train and supervise others effectively. Develop employees by managing performance, ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
Organizational duties: Adhere to the Vulnerable Persons Act, Residential Care Licensing standards, Choice.Passion.Life. Support Services INC. Policy and Procedures, and all other pertinent legislation. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of appropriate and effective programming and services, including assessments and ongoing implementation of person-centered plans.
Administrative duties: Maintain records and documentation ensuring confidentiality, budget development and management, participate in meetings, and support policy and procedure development.

Strong knowledge and demonstration of the guidelines of the Protection of Persons in Care Act
In addition, successful candidates must have:
Minimum of 4 years' experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities if experience is in a non-supervisory role, or minimum of One year experience if experience is in a leadership/ supervisory role working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Valid certification in First aid and CPR
Valid Class 5 drivers license and access to own vehicle.
Valid 2 Million Liability Insurance Cover for Vehicle
Clear criminal record and vulnerable Sector check
Crises prevention and Violence prevention training
Resides or intends to move to Saskatchewan
Valid Work Permit

Pay: $25.08 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
