Posted On: Jul 29, 2024Team Lead, Facilities EngineeringOur client, a reputable Oil and Gas Producer in Calgary is searching for a Team Lead, Facilities Engineering to maximize the value of their Alberta and Saskatchewan assets and provide project execution leadership in concept selection, detailed design, construction practices, procurement best practices, emission reduction, process safety and project regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for providing direction to the facilities team and ensure alignment of team and individual goals and Canadian business unit priorities.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Be accountable for implementation, reporting, and updating of the MOC process
  • Promote safety in design and construction, complete regular sites visits, and champion proactive reporting
  • Complete project stewardship and lookbacks
  • Assist with the development and updating of facility long-range planning and asset development
  • Coordinate the annual maintenance capital budget process
  • Drive consistent cost and schedule estimating practices to continuously improve group performance
  • Manage team resources and performance, providing regular feedback with the intent of meeting / exceeding objectives
  • Steward and track process safety management goals
Your strengths include:
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering
  • Professional Engineer with APEGA
  • 10 or more years of upstream facilities engineering experience
  • Previous experience working for an oil and gas producer
  • 2+ years in a leadership position
  • Experience in project management, operations support, asset integrity, process safety, metering, and measurement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high attention to technical details
  • Proven team player with the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels
