How you'll make a difference:
You will shape a modern and secure digital workplace by defining and executing the endpoint/device strategy, establishing governance and KPIs, and driving innovation through AI and automation. You will own the full life cycle of our devices and ensure our hybrid workforce has a consistent and secure experience. At the heart of this role is exceptional service delivery. Every decision and action must prioritize reliability, responsiveness, and user satisfaction. Delivering seamless services is critical to maintaining productivity across the organization.
You will lead the operations of our endpoint and device management platforms, resolve complex incidents, manage vendors and budgets, and aim to continuously improve our services.
Your responsibilities:Drive service delivery excellence by ensuring reliability, responsiveness, and a customer-focused approach across all endpoint and collaboration services, fostering trust and maximizing workforce productivity. Define and execute the device management strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce needs. Represent endpoint and collaboration technologies in enterprise-wide IT strategy forums and transformation initiatives. Align to and enhance governance frameworks, standards, and controls to ensure device security, compliance, and performance. Develop and maintain a modernization roadmap for endpoint and meeting room technologies, including lifecycle, automation, and user experience improvements. Identify, evaluate and implement emerging technologies (AI, analytics, IoT, automation) to enhance endpoint services and user experience. Ensure endpoint strategies and support models accommodate a hybrid workforce, including Bring Your Own Device and meeting room integration. Manage incident, problem, and change management: oversee escalations, lead change efforts, and communicate. Monitor and report KPIs (e.g., device uptime, incident resolution time, user satisfaction) to executive leadership. Set team objectives and assist in the creation of departmental goals. Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals responsible for endpoint and meeting room services through the establishment of performance expectations, training priorities, succession planning, and career development pathways, while promoting a collaborative, customer-focused culture with strong accountability and continuous improvement mindset. Lead and foster collaboration across diverse teams, driving alignment and influencing both IT and broader business functions.

Your experience and skills:
EducationUniversity degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

ExperienceSeveral years of IT experience, with significant time in senior, supervisory, or leadership roles related to endpoint or device management. 4+ years managing Microsoft Intune, Ivanti Endpoint Manager, or similar enterprise endpoint management platforms. Experience managing lifecycle, security, and modernization of Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and hybrid meeting room technologies. Experience leading service operations, projects, and cross-functional initiatives. Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts and budgets.

Technical ExpertiseFamiliarity with enterprise identity platforms (Active Directory, Entra ID). Strong understanding of endpoint security, compliance, Endpoint Detection and Response, antivirus, patching, and risk management practices. Experience with hybrid meeting room technologies, collaboration platforms, and hybrid workspace solutions. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems solutions and PowerShell scripting at an enterprise level, is an asset.

Salary: $98,323.00 to $122,867.00 per annum (Salary Grade 13)
Although the role follows a hybrid work model, regular in-person presence at our downtown Edmonton office is expected. Occasional travel to our Calgary and Millard offices is also a requirement. The successful candidate must reside in Alberta. Final candidates are required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment.
