About the Role

As the

Compliance & Risk Team Lead - Asset Management

, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding UnlockLand's investment integrity and operational excellence. You'll oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of risk management frameworks that ensure regulatory compliance across our portfolio and data systems.

This position blends traditional asset management oversight with next-generation PropTech analytics -- ideal for professionals who can bridge financial governance, AI ethics, and real estate operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead compliance and risk governance for UnlockLand's asset management and investment analytics divisions. Develop and enforce policies to meet regulatory, operational, and cybersecurity standards across jurisdictions. Oversee risk assessments for property portfolios, transactions, and capital deployment models powered by AI. Partner with legal, finance, and product teams to ensure compliance with data usage, ESG, and reporting frameworks. Conduct scenario and stress testing to evaluate portfolio exposure and capital resilience. Build dashboards and reports that communicate key risk metrics and performance indicators to senior leadership. Mentor a small team of compliance analysts and risk officers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Risk Management, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in asset management compliance, real estate investment, or financial risk management. Strong understanding of AML, KYC, GDPR, and data privacy regulations. Experience in ESG reporting, capital markets governance, or fund operations preferred. Familiarity with AI/PropTech, financial modeling tools, or data analytics platforms. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
