Job Description


SUMMARY The Team Lead, Cleaning is responsible for the effective operations of the cleaning service and quality control and management shift cleaners. This role is to set high standards for cleaning and to ensure those standards are maintained and achieve client\xe2\x80\x99s standard by the most economical use of materials, equipment and manpower KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform cleaning service to provide a safe and pleasant environment, including stripping and waxing flooring.
  • Carry out daily quality assurance inspections and supervise shift cleaners.
  • Consult with BGIS on-site supervisor and Facility Manager Administration regular basis, regarding the condition of the building.
  • Provide information of staffing, special project tasks, work orders and the effectiveness of Housekeeping to maintain and provide with quality services.
  • Maintain the shift operations and keep documentations for overall benefit of the clients and BGIS.
  • Maintain good communications with the supervisor and shift cleaners.
  • Consult with supervisor for specific projects and work orders and follow up on special project work.
  • Liaise daily with shift assistant supervisors and on-site supervisor.
  • Set priorities in scheduling of project duties for cleaning Staff.
  • Requisition or purchase supplies and materials in advance to supervisor.
  • Record staff absenteeism and sickness.
  • Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, JOB-RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS AVAILABILITY: Must be available for Monday - Friday, plus some weekend flexibility MINIMUM EDUCATION : High school education JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE : One year or less KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Experience of managing, communicating and motivating workforce teams
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage work programs
  • 1-3 years or more of cleaning experience
  • Flexible working hours for evenings and weekends
  • Willingness to learn and acquire new skills
  • Will solved problem through applying established procedures
  • High school diploma
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
  • None required.
