Are you an emotionally and physically strong individual? Interested in a unique work opportunity? Serenity Transfer Service Ltd is seeking a Team Lead - Body Removal Attendant in Salmon Arm, BC! This position is casual with the opportunity for more structured hours as you develop with your team.
While hours are not guaranteed, this job is an excellent way to build experience in the medical/forensic field, as well as funeral industries, and emergency services. Serenity Transfer Service Ltd. requires that any interested parties understand the need to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism as the nature of our work is extremely sensitive. At times you may interact directly with family or friends of the decedent, during which you must maintain an empathetic yet professional demeanour.
If you are squeamish to bodily fluids or graphic content, this may not be the right employment opportunity for you.
Must be able to pass a criminal record check, as well you must have a class 5 license.
*Previous experience would be an asset in this position, but not required
Requirements for the Job:
- Ability to handle dispatch duties
- Ability to respond to calls with urgency and be available for short notice work.
- Answering the phone while on call is of the utmost importance.
- Must have a class 5 drivers license, issued by ICBC
- Must be able to lift 150+ lbs
- Have an open schedule or working situation that allows you to respond to a call with a moments notice
- Willing to potentially drive long distances, as the response area is extensive
This posting is best suited to an individual who has an open schedule to be on call, looking for light, supplemental hours.
Expected hours can fluctuate and can range from 0-10+ hours in a week. It would not be uncommon to respond to only a single call or two per week.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week
