Purpose of the Role

The Team Lead supports daily operations at the Sharewares wash facility in Vancouver, BC by coordinating workflow, maintaining product quality, and performing washing, sorting, labeling, packing, and delivery-related tasks. This is a hands-on role that combines teamwork, leadership, and quality control to ensure products are clean, organized, and ready for clients on time.

This position reports to the Operations Manager. The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and wage is $20-$23/hour (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and participate in sorting, washing, labeling, packing, quality checks and other tasks. Organize incoming and outgoing wares based on production priorities. Perform and record cleanliness and quality checks. Update inventory tracking system. Ensure all products are packed, labeled, and accounted for accurately. Drive company vehicle for deliveries and pick-ups around the Lower Mainland. Maintain accurate paperwork, including clean counts, rework, and reject tracking. Support and train new team members in safe, efficient washing and packing procedures. Model patience, inclusivity, and teamwork, supporting individuals with barriers to employment. Report equipment or facility issues to the management promptly.
Qualifications:

Experience in dishwashing, sanitation, production, or manufacturing. Valid driver's license with a clean record; comfortable driving a company van. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Reliable and physically able to lift to 50lbs and stand for extended periods. Mechanically inclined and able to assemble and disassemble equipment. Basic computer literacy (Google Sheets or similar).
