Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic automotive repair skills is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,500.00-$2,000.00 per week

Additional pay:

• Bonus pay

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

• Air Brake Endorsement (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
