Job Summary:

Join our energetic team at the newly established Kumon center in Tsawwassen Delta ! We're searching for part-time assistants to work with children aged 3-15. If you're passionate, responsible, and eager to contribute to a vibrant learning environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Type / Category:

This is a part-time position with permanent potential. Ensure your availability from Tuesday to Friday, 3 pm to 7 pm, and on Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. Successful candidates will undergo a probationary period before securing a permanent position. We're seeking dynamic individuals capable of multitasking and actively engaging in various center activities.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

Reliability, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for working with children Proficiency in Math and English (assessment test required) Previous experience in tutoring or working with children is beneficial Availability on designated days and times Preferential consideration for ex-KUMON students or assistants Applicants over 18 must provide a successful Security Background Check upon hiring Successful candidates will complete four trial shifts before receiving a formal offer

Responsibilities:

Assisting students with Math and English assignments Grading in-class and home assignments Ensuring completion and correction of classwork Providing insightful student feedback to the Instructor Collaborating with other staff as needed Performing additional assigned duties
