As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for :

After School Tutoring (daily) Evening study hall tutoring (Mon-Thurs) Classroom Support in ESL/ENG3U classes (5 classes a week) Individual Student Support - Tutoring (students being removed from class to assist with assessments, organization etc.) Assigned to a particular classroom; supervise and tutor students with studying and homework. Communicate with daytime teachers and Head of Academics on updates/progress. Provide and ensure a safe and friendly learning environment. To complete any additional duties as assigned by Senior Management.

Qualifications:

University degree or College diploma Proficient with computer usage is an asset. Available all days of the week (between 1pm-9pm) Enjoys working in a diverse multi-cultural environment Excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office.
