Job Overview
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Standardized Preparation Programs to small groups of grades 6- 8 students.
- One on one private school preparation tutoring geared toward students ranging from grades 4-8.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in various IB or AP subjects including Mathematics and English - BONUS!
- Help students improve their understanding of concepts and develop effective study strategies.
- Plan lessons, mark exams and assign weekly homework on Google Classroom.
- Monitor students' progress and provide feedback accordingly.
- Seamlessly communicate with an affluence clientele on progress.
Requirements and Skill-set:
- Excellent verbal and written command of the English Language.
- Ability to complete up to grade 8 curriculum in Mathematics.
- Strong educational background and expertise in the subject(s) being tutored.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Patience and empathy to create a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain a positive and professional stance at all times.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$37.00 per hour
