About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable teacher, for Grade 10 Math and Science, who is excited to teach and lead in a global, tight-knit, and high-performance school community.

What You'll Do:

Deliver Exceptional Instruction: Teach engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that challenge students and encourage inquiry, creativity, and growth. Design Meaningful Learning Experiences: Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of a diverse student population using differentiated and inclusive approaches. Foster Student Success: Provide consistent assessment and feedback while supporting each student's academic and personal development. Build Relationships: Create a safe, respectful, and dynamic classroom culture where all students feel seen, heard, and supported. Collaborate with Purpose: Work alongside a dedicated team of educators and administrators to strengthen school programs, initiatives, and culture. Engage in Boarding School Life: Participate in extracurriculars, clubs, supervision, and community events that shape student life outside the classroom.

Required Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree in education or a teachable subject area. 1-2 years of classroom experience at the junior, intermediate, or secondary level

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficient in English. Experience teaching Math and/or Science at the high school level, particularly grade 10 Strong understanding of the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum and assessment guidelines Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential in both Math and Science The ability to connect with students, apply innovative teaching strategies, and adapt to diverse classroom needs

The following Would Be an Asset

Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification Experience with D2L/Brightspace Technology Experience working with international students Background in private or independent schools Proficiency in additional languages (Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish, etc.) Coaching, leadership, or club facilitation experience
