Job Description

Best Brains Learning Centers is hiring OCT Teachers who are enthusiastic have strong Knowledge in teaching strategies, and good communication skills for the Part-time position to teach Math and English for Primary/Intermediate /Secondary levels ( grades up to 8).

Responsibilities:

Teachers must complete hours of observation and training.

Teach and instruct with a teacher to student ratio of 1:4.

Be comfortable teaching both Math and English(reading and writing strategies) for

Grade 4 above preferred.

Keeping track of student progress and providing feedback to parents/center administrators.

No preparation needed for class. All teaching material and answer keys provided.

Ability to teach Primary/Intermediate/Secondary levels in Math and English.

Attend teacher team meetings.

Position Qualifications:

OCT Certified.

Minimum 1 year of experience.

Bachelors in Education or College degree in Math and English.

Hours:

Tuesday: 4:20PM-7:40 PM

Wednesday: 4:20PM-7:40 PM

Thursday: 4.20PM-7.40 PM

Friday: 4:20PM-7:40 PM

Saturday:9:20AM-12:40 PM

Job Types: Part-time

Experience: teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification: OCT (Ontario College of Teachers Certified) (required)

Appleby/Fairview or Walkers/Dundas

Expected hours: 18 per week

Pay: $22-$25per hour

Expected start date: 2025-09-02
