About the Project
Join one of the most significant infrastructure projects currently underway in Canada! The OTG project is transforming Toronto's transit landscape with large-scale tunnel construction, utilizing state-of-the-art Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced PLC TBM Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC-controlled TBMs on this landmark project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing TBM operations on major infrastructure projects, with a strong preference for candidates with Canadian project experience.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all PLC TBM activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Lead a team of TBM operators, electricians, and mechanics.
• Oversee TBM assembly, launch, operation, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PLC and TBM-related issues in real time.
• Liaise with project management, engineering, and safety teams.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years' experience working with TBMs on large-scale tunneling projects.
• Extensive hands-on experience with PLC-controlled TBMs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
• Previous experience working on Canadian infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Relevant technical qualifications in engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
