As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting clients to their desired destinations in a timely manner, maintaining the vehicle, and managing cash transactions.

Duties

Safely operate the taxi and navigate through various routes to transport passengers efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with their needs and ensuring a pleasant travel experience. Manage time effectively to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs, adhering to scheduled appointments. Handle cash transactions accurately, providing change as necessary and maintaining records of fares collected. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues. Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure passenger safety at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding ride requests and any changes in schedule or route.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in commercial driving or as a taxi driver is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient route planning and adherence to schedules. Basic cash handling skills for managing fares and transactions accurately. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations professionally. Familiarity with local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns is an advantage.
