A career as a Senior Advisor within the Canadian Tax Slips Management team at National Bank is a unique opportunity to play a strategic role in a group that is essential to the organization's regulatory obligations. You contribute to the management of complex projects, provide operational and strategic support to teams, and represent the Bank in industry committees, while leading continuous improvement initiatives in a constantly evolving regulatory environment.

Your Role

Lead cross-functional projects related to the issuance of tax slips, ensuring coordination among internal and external stakeholders. Act as an influential leader for operational teams by providing strategic support and fostering skill development. Actively participate in industry committees and external forums, representing the Bank's interests and ensuring regulatory monitoring. Conduct in-depth business analyses to identify the impacts of regulatory or business changes and propose appropriate solutions. Define and monitor performance indicators for the sector, ensuring the quality and compliance of deliverables. Collaborate closely with IT, legal, tax, and operational teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business needs. Contribute to the evolution of governance practices, risk management, and internal controls.

You join a dynamic and committed team of 14 professionals working in the Canadian Tax Slips - Non-Registered Accounts sector. You report to the Senior Director of the sector and collaborate with internal and external partners in a stimulating environment marked by innovation, rigor, and collaboration.

Prerequisites

Completed bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, finance, taxation, or a related field, or any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent Minimum of 3 years' experience in business analysis, project management or operational management in the financial sector Strong ability to navigate complex and regulated environments Inspiring leadership, political acumen, and ability to influence without direct authority Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (french and english)
