We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial services, with expertise in tax preparation and compliance. This role requires excellent analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software, enabling you to provide exceptional service to our clients while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Duties

Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to ensure compliance with tax regulations Perform audits as necessary to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in tax filings Assist clients with accounts payable and account reconciliation processes Provide bookkeeping support, including payroll processing and budgeting assistance Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant tools for efficient tax preparation Offer investment advice related to tax implications and strategies for clients Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance

Requirements

Proven experience as a Tax Professional or in a similar role within financial services Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and others Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting Familiarity with auditing processes and techniques Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
