We're Hiring: T1 Tax Preparer (Temporary with Potential for Permanent) - North Vancouver, BC

Are you a detail-oriented tax professional looking for a temporary contract this tax season--with the potential for a permanent role ? Our North Vancouver-based public practice firm is seeking an experienced T1 Tax Preparer to join our team, help us deliver top-notch service to our clients, and enjoy a friendly, dog-friendly office environment!

What You'll Do:

Prepare T1 personal tax returns
Ensure accuracy and compliance with CRA regulations
Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax documents
Assist with tax-related inquiries and provide outstanding client service
Work collaboratively with our supportive and professional team

What We're Looking For:

? Experience preparing T1 tax returns (public practice experience preffered)
? Strong knowledge of Canadian personal tax laws and CRA guidelines
? Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Profile, TaxCycle, Taxprep or similar)
? Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced tax season environment
? Comfort working in an office where dogs may be present

Position Details:

Temporary Position (February - May 1, 2025) with the possibility of becoming permanent
Location: North Vancouver, BC (hybrid or in-office options available)
Competitive compensation based on experience

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: $22.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

Additional pay:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
