MRDA Ink Is seeking a talented and passionate Tattoo Artist to join our creative team. As a Tattoo Artist, you will have the opportunity to express your artistic skills while providing clients with unique and personalized body art. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout the tattooing process. Your expertise in sanitation and customer service will be essential in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their vision and design preferences for tattoos.
Create custom tattoo designs that reflect the client's ideas and personal style.
Prepare the tattoo station, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
Apply tattoos using various techniques while maintaining precision and artistry.
Provide aftercare instructions to clients to ensure proper healing of tattoos.
Maintain an organized workspace, including sterilization of equipment and tools.
Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Participate in product demos and promote studio services to enhance retail sales.
Collaborate with team members to provide excellent guest services and enhance the overall client experience.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in tattoo artistry.
Written & verbal communication with clients.
Verify proper photo ID.
Experience

Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Skills in related areas such as hair styling, makeup application, or nail care are considered an asset.
Experience in retail sales or front desk operations is beneficial for enhancing client interactions.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations within the tattoo industry is essential.
Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is a plus, contributing to a welcoming environment for clients.
Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience.
Strong portfolio.
Display "customer comes first" attitude.
Responsible & punctual.
Good written & verbal communication skills.
Positive & enthusiastic personality.
Flexibility.
Ability to follow studio policies.
Compensation/Pay: To be discussed in person.
