Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Tanning Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, promote our tanning and beauty products, and ensure a welcoming environment for clients. This role involves assisting customers with their tanning needs, offering product demos, and supporting overall salon operations to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide personalized consultations on tanning services and products Educate clients on proper skincare, tanning procedures, and aftercare to ensure safety and satisfaction Assist with retail sales of tanning lotions, skincare products, and beauty accessories Conduct product demos and promote new or featured items to increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the salon, including front desk areas and treatment stations Manage appointment scheduling at the front desk and assist with guest check-in/out processes Upsell additional services or packages to enhance the client experience Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Strong communication skills to effectively educate clients about products and services Knowledge of sanitation protocols within a salon or spa environment Retail sales experience with a focus on upselling techniques Ability to operate front desk systems efficiently and manage appointments smoothly Experience or interest in body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, or hair styling is a plus Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $17.85-$24.74 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
