Are you an amazing person who is at the top of your game? We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef/ Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts. This role involves preparing a variety of pastries, cakes, and confections while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Pastry Chef will also collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and exceptional customer experiences. Experience in the food industry, especially in bakery and remote settings, is highly valued.
Schedule is 3 weeks on 3 weeks off plus travel days.
Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and confections.
Ensure all baked goods meet quality and presentation standards before serving or packaging
Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and meet customer demands
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times
Assist in the preparation and service of breakfast
Other duties as needed
Experience
Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food service environment is essential
Skilled in food preparation, baking, and food handling techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards within the food industry is essential
Experience with kitchen equipment used in baking and pastry arts is advantageous
Strong customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with clients or guests.
