We are seeking a talented and passionate Baker / Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in baking and pastry arts, with a keen eye for detail and a love for creating beautiful desserts. This role requires creativity, dedication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal for presentation
Assist in food preparation tasks including mixing, measuring, and combining ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
Package baked goods for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons when necessary and addressing any inquiries about dessert offerings
Adhere to all food handling guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
A minimum of 3 years experience in a restaurant or bakery is required
Professional training in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts is strongly preferred
Strong skills in cake decorating and pastry preparation are essential
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within the food industry
Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating independence in tasks
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
A passion for baking and creating innovative dessert items that delight customers

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
