Responsibilities

This position offers the option to work from home the majority the of the time, you will be required to attend meeting at the London or Windsor offices.

the DofE embeds its new five-year strategy, we are looking for a creative and proactive Talent and Influencer Manager to join our Events and Ambassadors Team. You will play a central role in helping the charity achieve its ambitious aims by broadening our reach, building our brand and profile and highlighting the relevance of the DofE through the active engagement of talent, influencers and their networks.

Your work with talent and influencers will elevate key media activity, contribute to the success of our flagship Gold Award celebration events at Royal Palaces, promote our programme and support our fundraising activities. As well as working with our existing high-profile supporters, you will identify and recruit a range of new talent to engage with the work of the DofE, ensuring that they are relevant to our audiences, aligned with our values and representative of diversity in all its forms.

The role is varied and exciting, with the opportunity to shape and develop the talent and influencer activity for the organisation and create new and innovative projects to engage talent. At this important time for the charity, you will be a team player, collaborating with multiple teams, including fundraising, communications and events to contribute to our success.

What you will be position will involve?

You will support the DofE’s strategic goals by ensuring we work with public figures who are relevant and engaging for young people.

Through monitoring talent and influencer profiles, you will identify and recruit a range of new talent to engage with the work of the DofE, including “rising stars”, ensuring that they are aligned with our values and representative of diversity in all its forms.

You will create and develop new opportunities to engage with public figures, as well as contributing to existing projects and events across the organisation.

You will deliver the highest standards of relationship management and stewardship, ensuring that new and existing talent and influencers who support us feel confident about the cause, can talk authoritatively on our behalf and are thanked and feel appreciated for their involvement.

You will project manage all talent and influencer work, including writing engaging pitches, producing high-quality briefing materials, administering all logistics, managing the budget and evaluating against project plans.

You will develop and maintain a CRM system for engagement with talent and have an overview of how all talent are used across the DofE.

Skills required?

We are looking to recruit a creative, innovative and proactive team player to join the Events and Ambassadors team at this exciting time.

Along with significant experience of working with high profile individuals and their networks, you will also have demonstrable relationship management experience that includes recruiting and stewarding relationships.

You will have a strong understanding of the celebrity, influencer and entertainment landscape, including ways of identifying and engaging with “rising stars”, as well as experience of developing creative and innovative new ideas for projects involving high-profile individuals.

An exceptional project manager, you will have experience of managing a budget, writing high quality pitches and briefing documents and networking and influencing a range of stakeholders.
