As our Talent Coordinator you'll be the go-to support for employee data changes, benefits, leaves, and onboarding administration. This role helps ensure employees have a smooth and positive experience from the moment they join the college and throughout their time with us.


Reporting to the Team Lead, Talent Operations, you'll work closely with colleagues across People & Talent Operations to keep our HR systems accurate, our benefits running smoothly, and our employees supported with clear, timely information.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:



Utilize and manage the HR Information Systems (HRIS) to access and revise employee data. Maintain accurate employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS), including processing hires, transfers, data changes, and leaves. Support the administration of benefits and pension plans--enrollment, changes, terminations, and responding to employee questions. Partner with benefit providers and internal teams to ensure smooth, accurate processing. Facilitate onboarding activities by preparing employee documentation and ensuring new NorQuesters have the information they need to get started. Prepare and issue employment letters with accuracy and care. Assist employees with benefit inquiries, life events, pension questions, and other People Services requests. Participate in process improvements and projects that enhance HR services and systems. Stay current on policies, collective agreements, legislation, and administrative practices related to benefits, leaves, and employee data.

WHAT YOU BRING:



A two-year post-secondary diploma in a related field. At least 3 years of experience in benefits, HR operations, or a similar role. Working knowledge of benefits administration, legislation, and collective agreements. Experience with HRIS systems; PeopleSoft experience is an asset. CEBS or PCP certification is considered an asset.

SALARY: $55,367 - $71,933

reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time permanentposition with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
