KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist II you will:
Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical, and production roles while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
Collaborate with managers to anticipate workforce needs, interpret labor market trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
Partner with post-secondary institutions, immigrant-serving organizations, and industry associations to strengthen and diversify talent pipelines.
Coach and advise managers on inclusive hiring practices, competitive compensation, and market availability.
Analyze recruitment data, prepare hiring reports, and recommend process improvements to drive efficiency and quality of hire.
Support onboarding activities and serve as a backup for orientation when needed.
Contribute insights from recruitment to inform workforce development and training initiatives.
Act as an HR advisor to employees and leaders, ensuring professional guidance on policies, engagement, and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist II, you will have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (required).
4-6 years of progressive, full-cycle recruitment experience with increasing responsibility (required).
Proven expertise in workforce planning, employer branding, and complex recruitment strategies.
Strong data analysis and structured reporting capabilities using ATS and recruitment analytics tools.
Experience conducting candidate assessments through phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
Advanced training or certification in talent acquisition or HR (e.g., LinkedIn Talent Insights, SHRM-TA, CPHR) (preferred).
Experience in manufacturing or complex industries (an asset).
Experience working in multicultural environments and with international recruitment (an asset).
