Reporting to our Human Resources Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for handling all recruitment activities within Business Services.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and create a fantastic candidate experience
Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their talent needs
Create job postings and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
Develop and execute appropriate sourcing strategies, paying particular attention to diversity initiatives and creative sourcing techniques.
Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews
Document and organize communications, notes, and other documents related to the interview process
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with candidates, networks and hiring managers
Manage relationships with agencies and educational institutions
Review processes and provide recommendations and metrics for continuous improvement and efficiency

Knowledge and Experience:
3-5 years of experience leading full-cycle recruitment processes preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
College Diploma or University Degree in Human Resources Management or business, an asset
Solid understanding and knowledge of recruitment and selection best practices and employment legislation
Advanced interviewing skills and a proven track record of successful hires
Proven ability to build effective relationships and display positive enthusiastic energy
Provide proactive and responsive solutions to departmental hiring needs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job board platforms, and digital marketing/social media platforms
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with UltiPro (UKG) is an asset

Ability to take ownership of recruiting process while working collaboratively with team members
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to quickly demonstrate credibility and develop strong partnerships with individuals at all levels
Proficiency in documenting processes
Subject matter expert on the labour market and industry trends
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Strong consultative, influencing and negotiation skills
