Talent Acquisition Specialists
Talan Canada is growing and looking to strengthen its teams with Talent Acquisition Specialists for the Montreal office, able to work with clients in several industries. Candidates must be located in Montreal or be willing to relocate as soon as possible for this opportunity. You will be playing a major role in the recruiting process and managing our clients' requests, you will also be responsible for ensuring that each candidate meets our clients' expectations, while respecting Talan's high-quality standards, and that each candidate can take their place and grow, the Talan spirit being one of the keys to our success. The main missions are :

  • Work closely with our Account Managers to define priorities and adopt the best practices and business strategies to meet various demands of our clients.
  • Prioritize passive sourcing and use our tools and Search Engine Optimization Platforms to engage potential candidates. (Salesforce, SmartRecruiters, LinkedIn Recruiter, social networks, etc.)
  • Create and publish ads on job boards and social networks as well as track the candidate flow.
  • Carry out a correct evaluation of the candidates, and if necessary, coordinate a technical evaluation by our Subject Matter Experts.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the candidate and Talan resulting on several opportunities for qualified candidates.
  • Adhere to the recruitment process, which may include Talan Admin tasks and candidate’s preparation for client interviews.
  • Partner with Account Managers: Ensure candidacies have qualification of requests, Talan Resume creation and submittals.
  • Monitor indicators: Quality and Reactivity to respect with commitments on each client.
  • Follow and keep processes, implementations, best practices compliance and policies.
  • Ensure regular follow-ups with qualified candidates.
  • Making important contributions during Team meetings.
  • Participate in job fairs and exhibitions to directly contact potential candidates and raise awareness of Talan
  • Get involved in international recruitment and understand different Immigration routes that Talan offers.
  • You will report directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition.
  • You will be supported in achieving your goals by a close-knit management team with the desire to help you grow.

Qualifications
To apply, you must have:
  • Successful experience in Resource Acquisition or Customer Relationship Management or Business Development
  • Motivation to evolve in a challenging and varied environment, with the ability to handle multiple sourcing needs, and sometimes urgent requests
  • Be open, agile and professional to receive constructive feedback to improve skills and behaviors that align with Talan's business strategy.
  • Creativity to devise and deploy targeted strategies to identify and contact potential candidates
  • Autonomous, adaptable, and proactive
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual French-English
