The Talent Acquisition Representative participates as a key member of the Talent Acquisition team and is responsible for providing recruitment services which include applicant screening and qualifying, routing, testing, coordination and some participation in interviewing for positions. The Representative partners with the Manager to ensure vacancies are filled using appropriate processes in a timely fashion. Involved in workforce planning in support of their portfolio clients the Representative works with leaders, employees, external applicants and HR colleagues.
What you’ll do

  • Working in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Manager, Advisors and Representatives, the Representative responds to operational leaders providing information recruitment and selection with the understanding of collective agreements, processes, policies and procedures and terms and conditions of employment. Refers matters of a complex or contentious nature to the attention of the assigned appropriate leaders.
  • Receive, process, pre-screen and qualify applicants for vacancies directly via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Creating hire documentation and ensuring all necessary details are recorded. Calling successful or qualified applicants to offer positions and completing all system requirements required for their hire. Produce recruitment metrics reports.
  • Manage assigned portfolio by assessing applicant suitability, referring applicants to Hiring Managers and coordinating the hiring process until the vacancy is successfully filled, including being part of interview panels.
  • Assist with recruitment activities including providing support and advice to clients on recruitment and the selection process. Conduct specific candidate testing if applicable and report on results. Conduct reference checks on short-listed candidates.
  • Liaise with external agencies with regards to competitions and recruitment events including planning, logistics and scheduling where necessary.



What you bring

  • A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Diploma in Human Resource Management plus two (2) years of recent related experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills focusing on client service.
  • Acute attention to detail demonstrated through previous work experience.
  • Flexibility and strong capacity to adapt to changing demands and
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced atmosphere and the desire to be part of a great team supporting an amazing organization.
  • Experienced with coordinating large scale complex recruitment processes and possess the ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work with emphasis on time and project coordination.
  • Knowledge of Collective Agreements within Healthcare sector considered an asset.

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday; 0830-1630
