About the role Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs. We are looking for an energetic & collaborative Talent Acquisition Partner with a demonstrated track record of developing strategic recruitment plans, creatively sourcing potential candidates, while ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and hiring manager satisfaction. This role will be based in Yellowknife, NT Reporting to the Team Lead, Talent Acquisition, with direction from the local Human Resources Team Lead, you will:
  • Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the talent acquisition process.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to understand their current and future headcount needs, candidate selection, and initial on-boarding processes.
  • Focus hiring of DDMI\xe2\x80\x99s Participation Agreement members and Northern residents
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies
  • Leverage various platforms to source diverse internal and external candidates.
  • Advise hiring managers on best practices for interviewing skills, talent acquisition process, and retention.
  • Partner with People community to harmonize the hiring process
  • Work in a collaborative community within the Talent Acquisition team
  • Prepare reports as per business requirements
