The Talent Acquisition Partner must be comfortable to navigate a very busy and fluid manufacturing environment as well as a robust corporate staff structure. You will work to establish and maintain close relationships with hiring managers across departments to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers. Manage relationships with external recruitment agency partners ensuring staffing needs are met in accordance with agreed upon mandates. Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants. The Talent Acquisition Partner will also establish and develop relationships with educational institutions and Summary of Position: Facilitate/manage recruitment and talent planning Specific Accountabilities:

  • Live our Core Values
  • Drive a recruitment plan and perform full cycle recruitment (includes yet is not limited to; posting vacancies internally and externally, sourcing top talent, screening applicant resumes, conducting phone interviews, acting as a liaison between the candidates and Hiring Managers to arrange in-person interviews, assigning background checks, conducting references, and assigning onboarding documents)
  • Coach hiring managers and interview teams to ensure there is a consistent candidate experience and quality of hire
  • Negotiate and present offers of employment to successful candidates
  • Develop recruitment metrics and reporting to track company recruitment practices in our applicant tracking system
  • Work in conjunction HR Team, assisting in strategies to reduce turn-over and increase employee engagement
  • Build key competitive research, industry profile development, networking, and direct sourcing strategies
  • Workforce planning, recruitment trends and forecasting
  • Ongoing interaction with all levels of co-workers, management, and external contacts
  • Demonstrate Servant Leadership
  • Adjust work hours, if required, for a multi-shift, multi-location operation
  • Continuous improvements of existing processes, systems, and tools
  • Act within the company philosophy
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-secondary HR certification: CHRP designation preferred
  • 3-5 years full cycle recruitment experience in a manufacturing environment using various interviewing techniques and evaluation methods
  • Experience with ATS and HRIS systems, preferably ADP\xe2\x80\x99s WorkForce Now
  • Demonstrated expertise in the development and execution of robust talent acquisition strategies and practices
  • Proficiency navigating social media and professional networks such as LinkedIn, Indeed and other career posting sites
  • Experience in sourcing strategies to be able to attract top talent
  • Exceptional collaboration skills to understand the value in driving team success
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance
  • Demonstrated initiative and follow-up skills
  • Willing to travel between the Brampton and Mississauga plant locations
  • Excellent proven interpersonal skills to influence, and coach while building relationships and earn the trust of candidates, hiring managers and the key stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
