Your Role
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be a key member of the North American People & Communications team, supporting both recruitment and onboarding processes and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and new hires. This role will report to the Director, HR Business Partner, and will collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to coordinate interviews, manage pre-employment processes, and facilitate onboarding activities.
Your Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring timely communication and a positive candidate experience
  • Manage time-sensitive pre-employment processes, including background checks, MVR checks, and drug screens
  • Assist with drafting and sending offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Serve as a consistent and empathetic point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Support onboarding activities, including preparing new hire documentation, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other relevant HR systems.
  • Collaborate with the TA team to improve processes and enhance the overall recruitment experience.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the HR and TA functions.
  • Create and post internet job ads in alignment with LEO culture and values. Execute employer branding initiatives on social media as needed.
  • Provide candidate sourcing support to the North American TA team
  • Assist in organizing Talent Acquisition events or university outreach programs.
  • Gather feedback from candidates to improve the overall recruitment experience.
  • Partner with external recruitment partners, i.e. contingent/retained staffing firms. Ensure all recruitment ven-dor contracts have been reviewed and approved per guidelines prior to initiating recruitment.
  • Coordinate with internal colleagues (HR, Sales Training, etc.) with regard to start dates, new hire processes, etc.
  • Help track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate pipeline status.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines while paying very close attention to detail.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and virtual!)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or comparable HR software (SAP Success Factors and Service Now) is a plus!
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues tactfully
  • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with proactive problem-solving in a deadline-driven environment
The base salary range for this position is $70,000-82,000 CAD per year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
